Vertical Search Engine
Rapidly scraped webpages using multiple threads, stored data in Elasticsearch. Retrieve and analyze docs from ES server related to query terms.
Movie Recommendation
Reduced size and enhance speed of the model by using Item-CF. Recommended movies according to cosine distance between query & stored data.
Q&A Chatbot
Integrated End-To-End Network with LSTM model to achieve a Q&A ChatBot. Deployed model with Flask frame as a system service on AWS server.
Health Predict
Performed data engineering to transferred raw data into tabular format. Achieved online inference by deploying project on AWS EC2 instance.
OpenAI Chatbot
Divided front/back end, protect sensitive info (API key) on server end (Node.JS). Tuning the response from OpenAI API by prompts tuning.
Emotion Predict
Exploited CNN for key points located, ResNet18 for emotion classification. Deploy and combined two models on AWS for result demo and visualization.
About Me
Hi, my name is Kaiyuan Wei. I graduated from Northeastern University with a Master's in Artificial Intelligence and a Bachelor's in Information Technology. I had acquired sufficient knowledge for Python/Java full stack develop, Machine Learning. I am skillful at tools like Django, Flask, FsatAPI, PyTorch, Scikit-learn. Familiar with Big Data processing with SQL, MongoDB, PySpark, Scrapy. I obtained AWS Machine Learning Specialty Certificate. Applied knowledge into projects like Q&A ChatBot, Health Prediction, Tumor Detection.
